  2. 02

Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil in a large pot. Add the whole-wheat penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Add the broccoli florets during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain well and set aside.

  3. 03

    Prepare the Homemade Cream Sauce:

  4. 04

In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  5. 05

Whisk in the flour and cook for another minute to remove the raw flour taste.

  6. 06

Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it starts to thicken, about 2-3 minutes.

  7. 07

Remove from heat and stir in the Greek yogurt, ground white pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.

  8. 08

    Combine the Ingredients:

  9. 09

In a large pot or skillet, combine the cooked pasta, broccoli, diced chicken, and the homemade cream sauce. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture is heated through and well combined.

  10. 10

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue to cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

  11. 11

    Serve:

  12. 12

Serve the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo hot. For added flavor, sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese or fresh parsley on top before serving.
